Memory Games to prevent Alzheimer’s from BrightFocus Foundation

Exercise Your Memory

Exercise your mind and have fun with the following memory games!

Some research has generated hope that one day it might be possible to slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease, delay its symptoms or even prevent it from occurring at all. Although there is preliminary data to support the benefit of some interventions, nothing at this time has definitively been shown to prevent Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. But games aren't always tools; sometimes they are just for fun. And if your brain strengthens in the process, all the better!

Please note that these memory games are not tests for Alzheimer's disease. If you, or a member of your family, are concerned about memory problems, it is important that you discuss these issues with a qualified physician.

All the games on this Website are free for the visitors and does not require registration or login.

Picture Memory

Rules are simple. Review the picture carefully and start the test. The full picture will be hidden and separated in 15 individual segments. Try to match the hidden segment with the one open at the right bottom corner. As soon as you locate the correct position, you are offered the next segment. The main task is to locate the hidden images and complete the text.

Matching Pairs

You get 36 hidden squares 6x6, and you are able to open each of the squares by clicking on them. Through the game, just two squares can visible at the time, so you have to try to remember the content as good as possible, so when you open the similar image next time you can get back to its pair previously opened.

Matching Pairs

The game is quite similar to the previous one. One get the same playfield, however, instead of the images, you are getting the written words. Matching the two words allows securing the pair uncovering. Note that the words are colored, so to have a match you need only the exact fit in terms of both, meaning and text color.

Two more links, Universal Crossword and Sudoku Daily, are not operational at time of this review.
